Summary
Fresh from graduation, Tom Riddle inherits a dead couple's Cornish farm he means to sell. But the village remembers him. A house. A fiddler. A wolf-pack that kneels to him. Blue flowers in a dream, a moon too close, and the memory of a drowned kingdom. "Come back," the old woman used to say. Not the world, not even Dumbledore, knew yet what that was going to cost.

Summary
A human. It was a real, living, breathing human. When was the last time he saw a human? It had to have been just before Earth’s destruction. Trillions—no, quintillions—of years had passed since Earth was consumed by the Sun, and yet here was a human, alive and well. A human, standing there before him under a soft, blue sky.
Earth. He was back on Earth.
The Master of Death couldn't help it. He laughed.
OR
Left in darkness at the end of time, the Master of Death had been waiting for Death to finally reap his old soul. That is, at least, until he fell through a black hole's event horizon and woke up in Petunia Dursley's garden.

Summary
Tom Riddle has been plagued by a bizarre and terrifying apparition for as long as he can remember. Who or what she is, he doesn’t know. When Harry pieces together enough information to realize that he is both horcrux and human sacrifice it sends him spiraling into a breakdown that kills Dumbledore, throws Hogwarts into chaos, and puts him right in Voldemort’s hands. Tom thinks this is a lottery win but begins to realize, slowly, that he is not in control of Harry, the apparition, or what’s coming next.

Severus Snape is born a woman. Only the why’s of things change, not the what.
————
Dismay washes over Dumbledore’s wizened features. “You told him about the prophecy.”
“Oh, I did more than that.” In lieu of laughing at the irony and despair of it all, she takes another drag of nicotine. “I convinced him to let Lily live. That way if she didn’t manage it at first, I could help her finish the job.”

Summary
As was habit upon arrival to the square, Tom scanned the crowd for a look at Mrs. Cole. He thought her at her most human on reaping days. Her hard face would crack, and out would run sorrow, if ever a child reaped was too young for the arena, or was one of hers.
Tom had once made a bet with himself that were he ever reaped, Mrs. Cole’s face would crack the opposite way: into a smile. But he’d made that bet when he’d been very young, and very vitriolic; it had been adjusted, since. The Tom of present day thought it more likely that, were he reaped, Mrs. Cole’s face wouldn’t crack at all.

"Oh! How could I forget! Tom fell during the night, again." Poppy doesn't look too upset, which tells Harry that at least it's not a serious injury.
"I'll check on him, see how he's doing. Thanks, Poppy," Harry says, sighing. He knows Tom would refuse help from anyone else.

Summary
After Grindelwald’s defeat, the Ministry of Magic decides that it’s imperative to give Muggle-borns greater ties to the Wizarding World while taking a strong stance against Pureblood supremacy and the best way to do that is to decree that Pureblood and Half-blood wizarding folk take on a Muggle-born spouse.
Tom Riddle expects to be forced to marry some Muggle-born witch he’s never heard of. It’s not anything he welcomes, but he expects that whatever witch he’s saddled with will be easy enough to control until such a time as he can get rid of her for good.
Tom’s expectations are proven wrong on all counts.

Summary
“Immortality is a funny thing,” the boy says. His tone is light and yet Tom senses the chastisement in it. “There are those who deserve it, those who do not, and those for whom it is nothing more than a curse.”
“I deserve it,” Tom blurts, immediate and without hesitation. He is not normally so impulsive, but the boy’s attitude – serene yet loaded with insult – pricks him sharply.
The boy does not take offense. Instead he merely asks: “Which one do you think I am?”

Summary
Tom Riddle owns one good quill, given to him by a boy who had so many he didn't bother to count. It was the first entry in the ledger.
Every gift Harry Potter gives him (the quill, the book, the ink, the gloves, the robes) gets a line, and Tom pays it back the only way he can: fixing Harry's homework, earning his marks for him, and eventually, kissing him on a cold balcony because twelve Galleons' worth of dress robes demand a currency beyond essays.
Harry thinks they're falling in love. Tom thinks he's staying solvent.
This is the story of every object between them, and the moment Tom finally stops counting.

Summary
King Thomas is a kind ruler and a good father. But why, then, is Tom such a cruel prince and difficult son?
Harry has been living the hard life of an orphan in the kingdom. The streets where he's been surviving couldn't be further from the luxurious palace where the royal father and son reside. But when Harry is caught after a theft, he's given two options: spend five years in jail, or spend a single year as the prince's whipping boy.
It's an easy decision. After all, Harry has never minded a little pain.
