Summary
Naruto and Sasuke were close as teenagers—friends, maybe even something more—but after high school, life pulled them apart. Sasuke went on to study at a prestigious private university, eventually becoming second-in-command to his brother in the most powerful company in the country. Naruto, on the other hand, joined the Navy alongside his best friend Shikamaru. Both quickly rose through the ranks, earning a place on the Navy’s most elite SEAL team.
But after a disastrous mission, Naruto was temporarily discharged and took work as a private bodyguard.
Twelve years passed without them crossing paths… until fate brought them together again. After a series of threats and even an attempted kidnapping, Itachi hires a full-time bodyguard for his younger brother—despite Sasuke’s protests. And that bodyguard is none other than Naruto.

Summary
All it took was a rock.
And not a particularly big or all powerful, narrative haunting rock either. It wasn't a massive boulder or a magic stone but rather an ordinary pebble comfortably wedged into wet mud and overgrown moss. But even so, that seemingly irrelevant piece of earth was all it took to completely rewrite a story, to create a new timeline.
Isn’t that fascinating? How even the smallest of details can lead to such dramatic divergence in fate? Is this the will of the spirits who exist beyond human comprehension? To dictate and control so thoroughly through the flap of a butterfly's wing that it’s impossible to even claim their interference. An interesting theory certainly, but not one that would ever be considered by our protagonist whose entire life is about to change…
Because of a rock.
...
Or, Naruto suffers an accident that leaves him physically scarred and half-blind, will this change the story line?
Spoiler alert!
Yes.

Summary
“…Good job, Naruto.” Iruka hesitated in handing him the headband. Naruto met his eyes with a smile and grabbed it out of his hand.
“Thank you, Iruka-sensei,” he returned, trying to keep his voice casual.
He took his time walking to the room of graduates, wanting to savour his first victory in so long. His hitai-ate fit snugly around his forehead, the cloth warm but the metal cool. He’s done! He’s really, finally done!
The last two years had been hell. But now, finally, Naruto’s graduated. Yes, he’s late, and yes, he’s fourteen, but he was done. That drowned out everything else.
Naruto had to take the genin exams thrice. What if, when he failed, he actually had to repeat a year? How would a fourteen-year-old Naruto, forced onto a team of ‘babies’, with a sensei who’s made a religion out of his past, fare?
Featuring a booksmart and slightly more mature Naruto; a reserved, less revenge-obsessed medic Sasuke; a lively, genjutsu-focused Sakura; and a long-suffering Kakashi constantly at his wit’s end. Canon-divergent. Naruto & Kakashi focused.
(Title and desc may change.)

Summary
There are loves that arrive like the weather: sudden, undeniable, impossible to prepare for. And then there are the loves that grow the way forests grow, slowly and from the inside, until one day you look up and realize you have been standing inside something vast without realizing.
Nara Shikamaru was five years old when he laid eyes on the sun that autumn. He would spend even longer failing to understand why he could never quite look away.
A story told in the quiet spaces between everything else. In the afternoons, the forests, the silences that said more than either of them were ready to say out loud. A love that grew slowly, until it was simply the most permanent thing either of them had ever known.
