Summary
“I presume that you’re the good alpha in this scenario?” Aerion steps towards him. Dunk feels like prey being stalked.
“I should like the chance to try,” Dunk replies, testy. “You may even enjoy it.”
Aerion is a few paces away, now. His scent makes Dunk’s head swim. “You wouldn’t know how to handle me if I walked you through every single touch.”
or: Aerion needs an alpha to get him through his heat. Dunk is the guy for the job. No, literally. It’s on his resume.

Summary
Dunk says nothing.
The not-saying costs him. He can feel the words crowding up behind his teeth, the foolish desperate words, and what of this, what of me, what of the dead candle and the unbarred door, and he holds them, because he knows what they are worth, which is nothing, less than nothing, they are the kind of words that end a thing like this, and Dunk has discovered in himself a cowardice he did not know he owned, which is that he would rather have the fire on these terms than not have it at all.Bookmarked by cepaea

Summary
A rush of heat ran up Aerion’s spine. He hadn’t remembered until this moment what omegas like himself might suffer under a trial of seven. Under Andal tradition, an omega who requested a trial by seven surrendered their hand and maidenhead should their accused be found innocent by the gods. It was, after all, a great offense for an omega to speak so out of turn and to need correction from the gods.
Maekar looked at his brother. “What has the boy done?”
“He will sacrifice his… mating to the accused, should the gods find Ser Duncan innocent.”

Summary
Derek's driving along a stretch of highway when an unusual sight makes him slow down, the engine of his old pickup rattling in protest.
There's a kid standing by the side of the road.
It's the middle of nowhere, the goddamn apocalypse, and this kid is standing by the side of the road with his thumb pointed skyward. Like he's playing at being a hitchhiker.
Or the one where Stiles thinks he's all alone in a post-apocalyptic world, until he meets Derek.

Summary
When Damian traces the source of a lethal new party drug to Metropolis University, it only makes sense to go undercover as a student to ferret out the culprits. He doesn't expect to run into Met U student Jon Kent, and he definitely doesn't expect to get mistaken for Jon's boyfriend. But hey, what harm could it do to play along?
This is going to get complicated fast.
