Summary
It takes quite some time, with Mark leaning forward and twisting for better angles, his strong forearms hovering in front of Donghyuck’s face. At some point in the midst of it all, Donghyuck slowly starts to doze off, getting tired of keeping his mouth open with the dull throb in his jaw.
“Open wide, sweetie.” Mark’s deep, warm voice cuts through his hazy mind, doing an excellent job at pulling him back to focus.
Lord have mercy. Donghyuck will fucking unhinge his jaw like a hippopotamus if he asks him to.

“Does it hurt that much?” he asks out of curiosity, and sees Haechan’s eyes lit aflame in real-time. He tilts his head, just to be coy.
“Touch and figure it out, hyung” the words that leave Haechan’s mouth are vile, because Mark wonders. He really wants to. Would Donghyuck allow him? To play and tug at his little, feather wings?
or alternatively, Mark is haunted by the Lee twins, and is definitely not emotionally constipated. Now, why would you even think that?

Mark leans in imperceptibly to speak, “Get closer Sunshine, I don’t bite.”
Donghyuck responds without even sparing the driver a glance, “I do.”
OR: Mark and Donghyuck absolutely cannot stand each other. Especially now that they're forced to practice together ahead of the biggest race of the season. The goal is to not kill each other, and maybe, perhaps, they'll fall in love along the way.

“Hi, are you Lee Donghyuck?” The man asks shyly.
“You’re really Korean looking for a man named Mark.” Donghyuck blurts.
Immediately, Mark bursts out laughing as Donghyuck prays to whoever is listening that a giant sinkhole opens up below him and takes him out of this ridiculously embarrassing situation.
OR: Mark and Donghyuck are virtual strangers, both in dire need of a new partner to get them through competition season. Now, all they have to do is learn how to skate together with the chemistry of people that have been partners for 20 years while simultaneously keeping it strictly professional because they do NOT have time for love...right?
