It was one in a long string of online purchases he’d made once he'd settled into his new place. It had arrived in an unmarked box, and a week later, Lestat had learned about the book.
Any fantasies he’d had of using the toy, with or without Louis, had soured, and it had been abandoned in the nightstand.

Summary
The blood on his body is dry and crusted, tracing paths like rivers climbing mountains, from his abdomen to his throat. It then splatters—like sparse, fervent, melting snow—across his face, up to the bridge of his nose.
Lestat flinches, then freezes.
His breath is so heavy it becomes audible, and then seems to turn into a serene sigh.
“It’s not your blood,” he concludes, relieved.
“No, it isn’t, baby," Louis agrees. “Can I come over there?”OR

“I can’t believe this,” Yuuri keeps repeating. “I can’t believe this.” Victor isn’t quite sure what Yuuri is referring to; but he can’t particularly focus on that. He feels as though the fog has finally lifted and he’s swimming in scented honey, pleasantly dazed at unexpectedly having stumbled upon paradise.
For Victor, the story really begins at the banquet in Sochi. And boy, does it begin with a bang.

Originally posted December 2024. A missing scene from 1x06. Daniel's questioning leads Louis to reconsider his own turning and the unspeakable phantoms that haunted his family.
He felt the pulse of his hunger quicken, and his mouth parted without volition. Something inexplicable passed over Lestat’s face as he held his gaze, eyes wide with anticipation.
Louis was upon him in an instant, teeth sinking into his flesh with a ferocity he had not felt since that night in the church, his thirst an unquenchable and animal thing. And Lestat allowed it, a lamb at the altar, no resistance—just a hand tenderly placed across Louis' chest as he was devoured.
