Summary
Speaking of, he was meant to be meeting that not-so-little centrist, Ranboo, soon for a trip to the ghost’s shitty library. The enderman hybrid had an interest in record keeping and Wilbur still needed to sort through his echo’s memories and verify them against reality. Of course, the library was very blown up from the third destruction of L’Manberg, but Wilbur had heard from Tommy that Tubbo heard from Ranboo that he and Eret wanted to dig through the rubble and try to salvage any surviving books. Thank fucking Prime Eret was too busy with their castle to venture out themself, or else Wilbur would have to deal with that...unfortunate interaction.
Best of all, Wilbur liked Ranboo. Sure, he had no spine, but he never seemed scared of Wilbur, at least not more than he was of everyone else.

A lock of Luka’s hair falls over his eyes. He doesn’t brush it back.
“What do you mean?” he asks.
“Having a child again.”
He looks at her, frowning. “Of course.”
“No, I mean—I know you want a baby.” She fiddles with the bright pink corner of the page. New! the bright text reads, before she flicks it from sight. “But are you, I don’t know. Worried, maybe?”
Luka stares. He’s a hapless fawn and she’s the bright headlights of a monstrous truck. Or she’s the deer, with Bambi at her feet, and he’s the metalloid.
“Why would I be?” he says.
She opens her mouth. Closes it. He doesn’t say anything, just keeps staring at her.
