Summary
It's the off season some time after the Centaurs' second cup and Ilya has finally decided to take the next step in personal growth. He'll need all the help he can get, but Sveta still thinks the Lotus Evora should've done the trick just fine. Ilya has been having trouble adjusting, to personal growth, the realities of taking his mental health seriously, and of Shane Hollander and his anxiety trying not to be a problem.
Oh, and apparently having to google the words 'adverse side effects' and 'impotence'. A trip to his therapist and his possibly useless psychiatrist so he can get...*potent* again is, well, just what the doctor ordered.
Something of a character study, with a good amount of scorching Hollanov(tm) sex thrown in for reasons. Set post-TLG, I made up some stuff about championships and I had to google some things about hockey. I tried my best y'all.

Summary
There really wasn’t a whole lot Bucky Barnes was surprised by anymore.
Dying twice, more or less, with several decades of literal torturous hell would do that to a guy. But, sitting pretty in 2027 driving down the almost-17 hours to Delacroix Louisiana in one go on a whim was pretty surprising.
Or maybe not? It was probably more the reason Bucky was red lining it to the bayou only stopping for gas and bathroom breaks that was startling him.

Both of them are completely unaware of the fact that fate—or some very thorough algorithm—has already matched them as soulmates. And on a side note, Shane Hollander may be oblivious to the fact that Ilya Rozanov doesn’t actually mind this decision nearly as much as Shane thinks he would.

Bucky drops into the trench. It’s pitchy black, and he’s good; there’s no warning save the displacement of air. Steve is wedged into a sentry stance beneath the earth, on guard and half-awake, when he feels Bucky come in like wind.
“What’s the secret password?” stage-whispers Steve.
“It’s ‘fuck off.’” Bucky displaces more air, wending Steve-wards. “Didn’t wanna startle you. Hoped you were gettin’ some sleep. You don’t sleep enough, Steve.”
“Whose fault is that?” Steve says, smiling under the ground in the dark. “C’mere.”
