"Sorry. Sorry, I'm Martin, I do the — the landscaping, the pool, I—" He gestures vaguely at the hedge trimmer like it might vouch for him. His heart is thrumming violently in his chest, and he hopes to God that the pretty omega can't smell his scent spiking with excitement.
"Cool." The boy slides fully into the water without another word, floating onto his back, hair fanning out, dark against the blue. "I'm Juhoon. This is my dad's house."
Juhoon is small, sharp-tongued, and entirely too aware of the effect he has on people. Martin is not smooth, not subtle, and absolutely no match for him.

Their first kiss had tasted like one of Martin's spring nosebleeds and a shared pack of spearmint gum, Tom Waits' low growl skipping on a burned CD. Juhoon had thought it'd be their last with how hard Martin laughed after, shy and a bit manic, like he'd just told a bad joke. The kiss itself was fine and not one of Juhoon's worst. The second one followed only a couple minutes after. Then the third.

Hongjoong stands close, too close, brows drawn together deeply as he gently traces one visible mark with his finger on Seonghwa's bruised throat.
“It’s nothing,” Seonghwa says immediately, a little too fast and a little too defensive as he yanks the hoodie over his head in a rush.
