Summary
Huang Xing was always the victim of harassment of his CEO's ex rut partners, whenever he was tasked with terminating their contracts. He was sometimes slapped, thrown with chairs, and most often verbally abused.
Dingjie, of course, was unaware of this until one day, he saw the slap marks on his most valued assistant's face himself and found out that Xing has been enduring this for a long time and categorizing this problem as a normal workplace hazard. As soon as Dingjie learned about this, he ordered Xing to carefully screen his potential partners next time, to ensure that none with a history of violence would harm Xing again on the day of severance.
Faced with such difficult conditions, Xing ultimately offered himself, reasoning that he wouldn't actually slap or hurt himself when the rut partner contract ended. Meanwhile, Dingjie was torn, as if the relationship were to end, he would lose his most valued assistant.
