Summary
Sirius had thought there would be an afterlife. He had thought he would be able to see James and Lily, maybe even his brother Regulus. But he hadn’t. Instead, death to him was like a soft slumber, a restful solace, like sleeping on a warm cloud. He had never thought death could feel so nice. In this place, nothing else seemed to matter. Nothing else seemed to bother him. His only regret was that he did not know what happened to Harry— if he was happy, if he was safe.
Well, he probably was not pleased with Sirius dying on him. But would he grieve for him? It’s not like he had the chance to become a proper godfather to him, but Merlin, he tried.
He really, really tried, dammit.
And then suddenly, there was a voice.
“Ah, Sirius Orion Black. You will do.”

Summary
They were so well settled that the prospect of children doesn’t even seem as frightening as it might have once to Draco.
Or at least, it didn’t seem frightening because it seemed obvious that Draco would carry the child. His job is flexible and self-employed. Harry’s job is dangerous, high-stress, and requires him to be on his feet. Beyond that, Harry’s obsessive, nosy tendencies mean that he gets tied up into at least one major conspiracy or dramatic showdown a year. He just can’t keep himself out of trouble.
This is why when Harry asks him shyly over dinner a week ago if he can carry the child- Draco’s response had been--
“Draco,” Harry said, frowning, “please stop laughing.”
