Summary
Pretty much what the name says on the tin. My brain thrives on taking as many fandoms as humanly possible and sorting it so that they can all feasibly exist in the time/space/universe/reality.
All the Nancy Drew stuff is connected to each other unless otherwise specified on the fic itself. Theoretically it's all in the same universe as Meaning of Home but I'm still sussing out the actual particulars of that so for the moment- they're like side by side universes until I change this note.

Summary
When Dennis Whitaker leaves Nebraska for the first time, in the summer of 1994, it isn’t by choice. Sicily is too warm, too foreign, too full of things he doesn’t understand, and too far from the life that was already decided for him.
Between restless nights, suffocating expectations, and a family that only seems to notice him when he’s useful, Dennis begins to drift. The future waiting for him back home feels less and less certain—and wanting something else is one thing. Allowing it is another.
Then there’s the man next door. Older. Quiet. Observant. Someone who sees more than he says, and more than Dennis is used to being seen at all. What begins as a simple encounter, a ball over a wall, turns into something slower. Something deliberate. Something that lingers.
Because Michael Robinavitch doesn’t exist outside Dennis’ world—he unsettles it. Questions it. Opens it. And for the first time, Dennis finds himself standing at the edge of something he doesn’t understand, and isn’t sure he’s allowed to want.
Because some distances can’t be measured in miles. And some crossings don’t let you go back.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker has always been good at enduring things: church on sundays, long shifts, the years old, quiet ache in his chest he refuses to name. He works, he fixes, he stays useful. Everyone agrees he’s holding up just fine.
Then he coughs up purple petals in a hospital bathroom and learns that love—unspoken, unwanted, and terminal—has been growing behind his ribs all along.
Ft. hanahaki disease, unrequited pining after allegedly straight attendings, bad coping mechanisms (cigarettes), and a man accidentally meeting his own cause of death on a nightclub dance floor.
OR
Dennis had his first cigarette after two years of quitting the first time he coughed up purple petals in the men’s bathroom at work.
In one fell swoop the relentless chest pain was finally explained and his death sentence was handed to him in paper thin purple petals, wet with saliva and sputum, coughed into the open palm of his healer’s hand.
It was strange that before then he’d never considered his own feelings for Robby. They had become very much like the pain in his chest: unpleasant but so long into it, also easily ignored and background noise to his every day.

Summary
An Alternative scene from Dandelion & Aquamarine chapters 28-30. Thanks to theghost and Rue for letting me play in their beloved sandbox. I adore their fic, and when this idea came to me, I flat out said, ‘I’m writing it either way, just asking for permission to post. Cause if needed, I’ll read it myself every damn day and never share it. But they said share.
