They weren’t always this secluded, Hyuntak used to have friends. Sieun used to come over all the time when Seongje was at work, they used to go shopping together. He used to go out with Baku so they could wait for Baekjin and Seongje to come out of the office. He used to visit Juntae and go to cute cafes with him.
Hyuntak and Seongje used to visit people together.

“What?” The eyes behind the glasses caught him off guard.
“I hate your eyes.” Second lies.

And then it slid in — but not where he meant.
The blunt tip nudged against the tighter ring below, pressing past resistance with the shallowest push as Hyuntak rocked down on instinct. Only a quarter of Seongje’s slid in, but the sudden chokehold of that tight heat nearly stole the breath from him.
Seongje’s eyes flew open, the lazy haze gone in an instant. His hands shot up, clamping iron-hard around Hyuntak’s waist, stopping him from sinking any further. His voice came out ragged, like the air had been punched out of him.
“What the fuck-” he hissed, chest heaving, “-what the fuck are you doing?” He wanted to finish, to demand if Hyuntak had lost his goddamn mind but the words never left his throat.
Because Hyuntak’s whole body seized. His back arched violently, head thrown back, and a raw, broken cry ripped out of him. His body betrayed him completely.

Hyuntak barely had the door shut behind them before Seongje crowded in past him, taking up the space like he owned it. “What the hell. This is my place,” Hyuntak snapped, tossing his keys down with a clatter. “You can’t just barge in like-”
Seongje’s hand was in his hair before he could finish, shoving him hard into the wall. The impact rattled a picture frame of him and Baku, something that made Seongje want to punch it every time he came over. Hyuntak’s breath punching out of him in a sharp gasp. “Fuck-” he grumbled, cheeks hot, glare darting up at Seongje. “You’re such a rude bastard, you know that?”
“Careful,” Seongje murmured in that maddeningly low voice. “You’re still sore from last time.” Hyuntak’s ears went red instantly, but his mouth still ran. “Shut your fucking mouth. I can still-”
Whatever it was he could still do got strangled in his throat when Seongje’s palm flattened against his back, pressing him harder into the wall. The pressure was steady, unhurried, like Seongje had all the time in the world to watch Hyuntak’s bravado unravel.
Hyuntak’s fists bunched against the wall. “Geum Seongje.”

Seongje continues, rhythmic and concise. Movements and wrist turns, a sly smile. “Weird and weak. A dog without a leash.”
Hyuntak's eyebrows reach his hairline. Somewhat less sharp at the edges, Seongje continues to clash and signal offenses as he would at his ear. With a very doubtful assertiveness for someone who just glimpsed some random video of insults. He trained for this, to offend him in a way that was reasonable-seeming and audible to Hyuntak.
“Let's fight, Go Hyuntak.” It was the last thing he signaled, after the barrage of ugly words and taunts. And at another time, that would have been directly offensive. It still is. But the whole situation was hilarious because his chest was shaking and shaking. He realized he was laughing.
Go Hyuntak is deaf and finds himself developing a crush on his enemy because he learned sign language to insult him. Geum Seongje is kinda pathetic and obsessed so his love language is violence.

No matter how sharp his glare is when he stares at Seongje, all Seongje can think of is how he looks, something almost akin to a baby tiger. Cute. When Hyuntak throws a punch at him, Seongje focuses on how delicate his hands are for someone who spends his time fighting. When Hyuntak kicks him, Seongje focuses on the way Hyuntak’s leg bends, how his movements flow, and the self-satisfied look on Hyuntak’s face when the kick lands.
Everything about him is just pretty.
Alternatively,
Seongje likes pretty things, and Hyuntak is the prettiest boy he's ever seen.
