She catches up to him at the stony entrance to the tidal pools and deja vu thrums through her as he begins to pull off his shirt.
“What are you doing?” it comes out accusatory.
“Bathing.” he replies, and starts on his pants.
She spins to turn away from his rapidly revealing flesh. The sound of clothing falling at his feet is almost indecent.

He captures her throat in his hand in a blink, face still smug. “Say it Osha.” The words are like a blade under silk, dark with command.
She considers for a moment, darts her tongue out as she weighs her words. His eyes track the movement of her mouth like a hawk, lids lowered.
It's difficult to think. Qimir's hand is hot on her throat, and he’s so close. Domineering. Her body tightens in unfamiliar sensation, even though there is no real pressure on her throat it feels a little hard to breathe.
