Jean steps over the raised threshold with a tray in her hands and a key ring at her hip. She closes the door behind her with her foot and stands awkwardly before the bars for several moments, looking as if she means to say something but is unable to decide on what. Eventually, she sighs, and, balancing the tray on one hand, she reaches for the key ring.
“How are you feeling?” She filters the keys between her fingers until she finds the one she needs, slotting it into the lock on the door. “I’m sorry about… all of this.” She nods toward the bars, then pushes the door open. She doesn’t enter, though.
“You needn’t be,” Albedo says, stronger this time. He swallows, and it feels like ash has clumped in his throat, hindering his breath. His voice grows unsteady when he adds, “How many did I kill?”

Albedo has finally done it—destroyed Mondstadt, destroyed everything. Or at least he would have had he not been interrupted by the very person he was counting on to stop him.

Summary
He was like a great magpie, attracted to all things shiny and rare. It was hard not to liken him to a bird at first glance, with his tresses of dark hair and layers of clothing (which Aether had mourned upon realising he was woefully underdressed for Snezhnaya’s weather).
And as with all of the rare and curious, The Regrator wanted nothing more than to add Aether to his collection.
