Summary
After a terrible break up that left them both hurting, Bruce and Vance leave their separate ways to college, trying to forget each other. In their absence, Bruce became one of the most popular single artists of his generation, and Vance started a small band with some friends and it sky rocketed on the charts.
Life was... okay-ish.
Their plan for never crossing paths work effectively for 6 years, until Vance's younger brother, Griffin, who was also his manager for his band, "Men in Suits", decided it was the perfect opportunity to have them collab on an album about love... without telling either artist who they were collabing with.
Being forced together after so long, with many unresolved feelings and tensions, could only lead to disaster. But they had to keep it together for their fans and Vance's band mates. But as the tension overloads and they develop a ... kind of toxic situationship, both of them forced to revisit the painful memories that started the whole situation.
As the release of the album becomes closer, they must decide whether to stay in a pool of hatred, or confront their unresolved feelings, together, and move forward.

Summary
Finney ran down the block, legs sprinting as fast as he could to get away from the three boys chasing him down the road. Matt, Matty, and Buzz had decided on the first day of high school “Finney the Fag” was going to their target for the rest of their years together; essentially all of high school, and it made Finney’s life hell.
He had always been the target for bullying, even during elementary school. He was always too skinny, too fat, too short, or too tall; his hair was too long, too short, and worst of all, he was pretty.

Summary
Billy Showalter, the suburbs loyal paperboy, has a slight predicament. Recurring dreams of an anonymous person and him cloud watching in a meadow. It was peaceful and relaxing and nice, he supposed. Inconsequential. Unimportant. Until it wasn't.
When the mysterious person's identity is revealed to be none other than Griffin Stagg, the boy he locked eyes with daily at the library, he begins to truly question his sexuality for a moment for the first time in his life. And when the boy suddenly appears at his doorstep at 4:57am that same morning, startling Billy so bad they both end up on the ground, he really starts to question all of his life choices.
As time goes on and fate began to work her magic (aka his best friends), Billy begins to truly understand that his feelings in no way shape or form could be platonic. But does Griffin feel the same way? Griffin, the lonely boy with no friends up until Billy came along? Billy would rather hide his own feelings even from himself, if that mean't he could still be the reason Griffin laughed on Monday mornings and pushed himself farther than he ever had before.
But Billy was never that good at lying.
Good thing Griffin is as oblivious as he is.
