Its steps were slow but sturdy, and Branzy could hear a light rumble each time one of its hooves lazily met the ground. It easily was 6 feet tall at the shoulders and its massive, high held neck only added to its grand stature. Its rider was equally intimidating, tall and lean and bathed in shadows. Their loose poncho danced behind them, caught by a breeze.
Branzy couldn’t see their face, but from the chill that crawled down his spine, he was sure they were looking back at him.

Summary
Saparata rolled his eyes lightheartedly, humming out an “and you think I worry about you too much” under his breath. Turntapp just smiled at him, dropped his hands gently, and went on to sling a heavy pack over his fur lined shoulders.
He rolled his shoulders as he tore himself away from Saparata, schooling his face back from a giddy young soldier boy to that of the hardened Warlord he was. As Tapp was about to close the heavy door of their shared chamber and head off into the wild, untamed terrain around the Covenant, Saps quietly muttered out one last “Be safe, ok?”
Turntapp looked over his shoulder with a reassuring smile, “When am I not?,” and shut the door behind him.

Fluixon didn’t even have time to process his words before he balled up the wet snow at his feet and threw it as hard as he could towards where the President rode on his steed.
The silence that filled the air was even more deafening than the previous incessant cheers and cries of loving citizens.

Summary
The pressure plate that sat a yard away from him now only held a symbol. It was like a mirror, and while Wifies saw himself, it was not his present self, hair splayed and tracks of tears drying on his cheeks.
He saw a younger, happier version of himself in the lens of that spyglass. Wifies could remember a time when he had people, even foolishly, that he could trust. He remembers friends other than Parrot that he, at the time, cared for.
There was nobody here to care for him, though, and any trust he might have held, even in Parrot, was now gone. Of course, it wasn’t anybody's fault except his own. He dug this grave, and now it was his time to lie in it.

“Hercules is more visible now. I wonder how someone looked at that… odd spiral of stars and thought, “hey, that looks like Hercules!’” He knows Wifies would’ve laughed at that. The silence is deafening.
Parrot draws his knees to his chest, and Eleos looks very offended her resting spot moved. He flops onto his side, cheek pressing against the damp, cold soil, back facing the headstone.
