A reluctant savior, an ex-evil queen, a werewolf-waitress, an adventurous librarian, a loyal warrior, and a princess in search of an identity all come together for an epic adventure that Storybrooke may not survive.

“Holy shit, did you see her in class today?”
“Yes! I don’t know how she wears shit like that and expects not to be laughed at.”
“Oh my God, she’s such a dyke.”
Shauna freezes. Technically she hasn’t moved since she got into this position, but her muscles tense up like springs, ready at a moment’s notice to fight or flight. She forces herself to calm down because she doesn’t even know who they’re talking about. Is it a horrible thing to say? Yeah, but it’s not surprising. Shauna’s heard the same prejudice from Mr. Taylor’s mouth enough to be a little desensitized to it. Whoever they were bitching about, it’s ultimately none of her business.
“I bet Van only joined soccer to be in the girl’s locker room,” they snickered.
Oh. They were talking about Van. Scratch that—it is Shauna’s business.

“You know,” Nat says, “you’re not so tough-looking without your battle suit.” She’s grinning at Lottie and Lottie likes that, too. That smile is powerful. Sly and cocky, a little crooked, and so full of well-earned pride. Nat’s got plenty to be proud of.
“You’re not so scary either,” Lottie says. She digs her fingertips in and pulls Nat’s hips against her. She can’t remember the last time she was this close to a woman—if she’s ever been this close to a woman—but if Nat never gets any farther away from her than she is now, Lottie will die happy. “Now that you don’t pull guns on me for fun anymore.”

Enid crouches for leverage in threat of attack and growls lowly then louder until she loudly emits a howl of outrage.
It echoes in the distance, and crows loudly squawk in disturbance and take flight.
Wednesday steps outside. "You have been feral way too long, Enid. It’s time to heel."
Nothing else is said. Wind whistles between them and rustles the trees. For just a moment, Enid’s tail tucks between her legs.

While at Nevermore, Enid risked her humanity when she wolfed out in a moment that meant life or death for Wednesday, with the understanding that Wednesday would find her and help her revert back. Wednesday, seemingly, never finds her. After months traversing dense woods, Enid emerges at her family home and joins her mother's pack.
Ten years later, Wednesday receives a vision that leads her to learn that Esther Sinclair is the leader of a lupin cult or a feral pack that Enid is in the center of.

Summary
In the days of the Great Depression, Jackie Taylor was beloved by millions of moviegoers across the country. She was a goddess of Old Hollywood, the all-American girl, queen of the silver screen. Like so many of the old-time starlets, her reality was not as rosy as the fantasy the studio sold. Her name is remembered today as much for the quiet tragedy of her private life as for her classic films.
Shauna Shipman is mostly forgotten. She was nevertheless once a star in her own right. One of the radical writers who flourished in the 1930s, her novels sketched the grim reality of slum life and the trenches of the Great War in vivid color. She reported from picket lines, from the dark heart of fascist Germany, and from the battlefields of war-ravaged Spain.
Little as they shared in common, Shipman and Taylor defined each other's lives. Decades after their deaths, enough documentation has surfaced to piece together the long-forgotten connection between these two women. It is presented here through yellowed newspaper, through musty transcripts, through the cloudy reminisces of those wished they knew them, and those who thought they did.

Summary
It isn’t The Wizard of Oz that pierces through whatever walls Kara has placed around her heart, nor is it Singing In The Rain, or even West Side Story. No, it’s Oklahoma! that blindsides her, leaves her sobbing into her throw pillow until her voice disappears and she’s too exhausted to move to her bed.
She can’t figure out why a story set in the time of farmhands and cowboys could make her think of Lena in any way until she rewatches it.
And oh. Oh, she finally gets it now.
Kara hears the words being sung and is reminded of the fact that after everything, Lena still doesn’t have the full story.
Lena had accused her of having ulterior motives, of wanting to be close to her out of selfishness, of being too cowardly to ever take a real leap of faith. She isn’t all that wrong. Kara’s alter ego may be out in the open now for Lena to see, but that doesn’t mean Kara isn’t still hiding behind some lies.
The fact that she’s fallen in love with Lena Luthor accidentally along the way is the only secret she’s got left.
AKA, Kara watches an old movie, realizes what's been in front of her this whole time, and somehow, finds her way back to where her heart has made its home.

Her eyes never strayed from Enid’s face—the pale arch of her brow, the soft tremble of her mouth, the quiver of lashes catching starlight. A tear slipped down Wednesday’s cheek, tracing the familiar curve of her jaw before vanishing into the stiff collar of her shirt.
“Indeed,” she replied, just as quietly. “Indeed, she is.”
