both of their friends sense the tension, give them advice, tell them to just avoid one another. they agree, however they sneak disgusted looks toward each other despite knowing it still counts as looking. as noticing each other. like their eyes were always meant to meet. but they wouldn't admit that, they'd leave the words unsaid. always—minds agreeing on one final thing: i hate you & i'll always show it as long as you're there.
OR taking place in highschool together; an and kohane are enemies who claim they hate each other & refuse to see eye-to-eye, but along the way, they adapt to one another. keyword: adapt. nothing less & nothing more. maybe.

Gisei didn’t answer.
Instead, with the nonchalance of a cat claiming a sunlit spot, he placed one knee on the mattress and lowered himself gently, folding down until his head rested directly in Hajime’s lap. He shifted slightly, adjusting his long limbs and the blanket around his shoulders, and then exhaled — one soft breath, warm against Hajime’s thigh.
