"I told them I was already dating someone."
Carla let out a sharp bark of laughter. "No! Brilliant. Who’s the lucky imaginary lady?"
"Mum went into absolute overdrive. She didn't even pause for breath. She immediately declared that if I’ve been seeing someone, they have to come on the family holiday. I started panicking, trying to make up excuses – said she was busy, said she hated the beach, said she had a terrible phobia of flying. But they wouldn't have it. Mum was relentless. She demanded to know her name".
"And? What did you tell her?”
"I said Carla"

Summary
The door closed behind them with a soft click as they toed their shoes off, the warmth of the house soothing their cold cheeks. Lisa moved to pull the horns off her head, ready to make a brew and head to bed, put a weirdly emotional, but eventually lovely day behind her, but Carla had other ideas.
‘Ah ah missus,’ she said, her tone gravely, instantly sending heat between Lisa’s thighs, ‘leave them on, I have plans that involve you, those horns, and nothing else.’

Summary
When Becky returned from the dead Carla knew it wasn’t going to be an easy ride. She was determined to fight for her relationship with Lisa. But after months of fighting, tension, and holding on for dear life it all became too much for Carla and Lisa, and they mutually decided to split.
Carla moved to Ireland – left everything behind to start fresh, apart from Underworld - she did as much as she could remotely while Sarah did more of the in-person management. Lisa moved away to Brighton after the house sold, transferring to Sussex police.
Carla kept in touch with Betsy – never mentioning Lisa or Becky.
5 years later a sudden attack at Underworld takes place that requires Carla to come back to Weatherfield.
