sequel to Doesn't Mean I'll Stop
Sonic and Shadow are on the run from G.U.N., and desperately trying to figure out if the other reciprocates his feelings. In the midst of their romantic drama, G.U.N. begins attempting to collect the chaos emeralds for an undoubtedly evil scheme, and Sonic gets taken into custody for aiding the Ultimate Fugitive. Can Shadow save Sonic before it's too late, or will the Eggman Empire rise under the absence of the hero?

After Morgause’s challenge, Merlin had been too late. As he and Leon burst into the room, Arthur stood over the throne with a sword to his father's chest.
“Arthur! Don't!” Merlin yelled. “I know you don't want to do this.”
“My mother is dead because of him!” Arthur retorted, not taking his eyes away from the tyrant in the seat of a king.
“Killing your father won't bring her back. You've lost one parent- Do you really want to lose another?”

Knives digs through the rocks with his bare hands, heart pounding his throat, jaw clenched. Even he doesn’t know how he’s going to react to this. For all his frustration with Vash, for all his occasional hatred, he’s never believed that Vash would really be gone.
Finally, he pulls the last bit of debris away. And there’s the body he’s been searching for – but not.
He stares.
It’s Vash, undoubtedly, but not Vash as he’s known him for so long. It’s Vash as he was, Vash as when they first arrived on this planet, young and even softer.

Summary
What Arthur knows: Merlin, his clumsy and foolish servant, is actually quite smart. He’s also loyal, and brave, and in many ways the reason Arthur has so many good people in his life.
The goal: Make Merlin realize how important he is to Arthur, no matter how stubborn he's clearly chosing to be about it.
What Arthur does not know, yet: Merlin has magic. Also they're very slightly a little bit in love.
It's going to take them a while to figure it all out. Meanwhile the knights have known for ages, Gwen figures it out pretty quick, and pretty much all of Camelot has also known ever since that weird peasant stumbled through the gates and challenged the Prince all those years ago.
