Summary
I must admit that my written recollection of my reaction to Holmes’ impossible return was somewhat of a dishonest one.
In the interest of keeping my dear old friend’s honour intact, as well as my own sanity, I have been compelled to lace my storytelling with little, harmless fibs.(A retelling of what happened when Holmes revealed himself to Watson, with more tenderness than prior present.)
