Summary
The cage sits on the bed.
Their forehead is sweat slicked, dark, greasy brown bangs stuck to their skin. They tremble, knees pulled together, chest heaving and stuttering.
YOU watch from your own faux cage, built of wire. They have ripped YOU out again, thrown YOU away, locked YOU up.
The cage's name is Kris. The cage hates YOU.

Summary
The Age of Dark has consumed Lordran. The Chosen Undead has defied prophecy, and now the world he once knew is no more.
In another time, in another place, a different prophecy is playing out. A different story, heroes preserving the world from destruction, no matter the cost. It is something all too familiar to him. Now the void is all that remains of his world, and yet, the darker it gets... there may still be more to see.

Summary
“I was the last one to see them. Both of them.” And her heart speeds up but she does not speak, she can wait, they have forever. There’s nothing else that matters. Nothing matters. “I should’ve–” A noise like a wounded animal. “I knew something was wrong. I left them here, and– and it’s my fault. I should’ve stopped them.”
Carol hears nothing but her heart in her ears. The wind is in her eyes, drying them, she didn’t know they were wet. Endlessly monochrome, before her: the killer.
“Yes,” she says finally. “You should have.”
OR: Two bodies are found in the lake, and a funeral is planned for three. Carol Holiday is left alone.

Summary
He stares at the “Submit” button, and it stares back. His breathing is shallow, his eyes dry and scratchy. He licks his lips, closes his eyes, and clicks. The page refreshes, and with it comes a slosh of vertigo, like stepping off a ledge and waiting to hit ground.
There’s nothing to do now. Satoru closes the laptop and lets the darkness reclaim the room. He sits with his head in his hands until he can convince himself that he’s not going to throw up.
He drifts to bed, phone in hand, the muscle memory of checking notifications impossible to ignore even when there’s nothing to see. He sets the phone on his chest, thumb hovering over the screen as if Geto’s response might arrive instantaneously, as if he’s not just one more email in a sea of desperation.
///OR: Satoru starts therapy to untangle identity, performance, and desire. He finds a therapist who ticks all boxes, but at what cost?

Summary
You’ve survived wars, plagues, revolutions, and at least three attempted exorcisms by some of history’s most famous sorcerers.
You’ve outlasted empires, mastered a dozen languages (including two that are now dead), and made a habit of slapping Kenjaku across time and space every century or so.
And yet, somehow, the single greatest threat to your peace and productivity is one insufferably loud man with silver hair, a bottomless well of confidence, and the most inconveniently beautiful blue eyes you’ve ever had the misfortune of seeing.
You are a nine-tailed fox spirit, a scholar, a legend. All you want is to finish your damn research in peace.
Instead, you get Gojo Satoru.
He breezes in uninvited, steals your favorite seat at the café, and no matter how many times you banish him—with varying degrees of arcane force—he just keeps coming back.
Immortality is a long time to suffer through this kind of nonsense.
