Summary
Satoru's touch is as cool as it's warm, and Suguru's cursed energy is, apparently, as burning as it's the navy blue of a starry night. And he is bursting with nerves and the urge to kiss, and to bite, and to consume, to become - and he's as calm as ever, confident that their flesh had been crafted precisely for this: for this, this closeness, this unity, Satoru's palm against his cheek. All paradoxes circling each other like beta fish.
He doesn't yet know where to go with it, Satoru's tender description of his very soul. He wishes he could say it back, that he could see the very essence of Satoru too rather then just feel it, like a blind man grasping at a great piece of art, trying to understand color just by feeling the ridges the paintbrush left. Instead, all he can think of is Blue, blue, blue of his eyes and blue of the cool touch of his hand and Blue of their power and of their curse and of their Infinity.
All he think to say is, like a call, maybe like a prayer: "Satoru"

Summary
He watches, almost in slow motion, as the stupid, most haunting pair of amber eyes look behind Shoko, focusing on him.
The worst part is how Satoru tracks every minuscule crinkle of his eye. How he watches recognition fill his gaze, watches the muscles in his brows relax as his gaze softens. Watches for signs, tells, that he’d recognize, and horribly, finds them.
Watches, maybe in horror, a soft smile come across the features that he still sometimes sees when he’s been staring at the backs of his eyelids for too long.
“This is my friend from uni,-“ Shoko, oblivious, starts, and Suguru interrupts her.
“Satoru.”

“…I don’t think I should let you back into my life.” Satoru mumbles, a little sleepier, after some time.
“…I understand.” Suguru whispers, not letting go, as if he’s savoring every second Satoru is going to let him have like this.
“I think I will anyway.” Satoru whispers back.

Summary
Suguru swallows thickly. "I've never been much good at helping anyone."
And maybe he's right.
Suguru isn't the kind of hero some sorcerers are, or long to be. He's spent his dwindling youth helping the weak and found himself spent and exausted for it, found himself growing mad with it.
Except:
"You've helped me." Satoru whispers. "You help me all the time."
Suguru looks at him helplessly, like he still doesn't quite believe him.
"If you can't stand to live for the weak anymore." Satoru whispers, hand trembling a little where it's cupping Suguru's wound. "Then learn to live for yourself, at least."

Summary
Suguru drew back, eyeing his work - Satoru's gaze was hazy and unfocussed, lips swollen ever so slightly, shirt askew, providing a not so family friendly view of Satoru's chest to a very very grateful Suguru.
All praise the Lords for this blessing.
Or. Everyone being collectively frustrated by SatoSugu shenanigans with pinch (?) of violence
