Summary
When Shen Yuan wakes up in the murder mystery novel he was reading before his death, 'Echoes of Guilt', in the body of his fictional namesake, Shen Yuan, he's miserable. This would normally would be a great experience - if he wasn't supposed to be the very first victim to go.
Luckily for him, Shen Yuan is determined not to die - seeing as how he'd already perished in his first life.
Unluckily for him, Shen Yuan hadn't finished the book, leaving him clueless about who the real murderer is.
With danger lurking around every corner, Shen Yuan must race against time to uncover the killer before it's too late. Suspicion begins to fall on everyone, including The Original's friends and family - and the mysterious Luo Binghe. Shen Yuan must navigate a web of deceit and hidden motives to uncover the truth.
But as he delves deeper into the mystery, he realizes that fate may have other plans in store for him.
