I know he talked about it with me a bit, but I can’t remember if he ever finalized anything or if it was just drunk bullshitting.” She lets out a heavy, final sigh, one that lifts and drops her shoulders. “He was such a jackass. God, I’m gonna miss him.”

The straw-hats gear up to take the king on, after getting slightly separated (of course), but the burning corpses littering the ground stop Sanji in his tracks and it seems Robin might know why.

One hundred percent best read after reading Glitter_Lisp's To Wander The Woods On Your Own, but to read separately all you need to know is Sanji has an established and known aversion to pork (due to having to eat Zeff entirely, not just his leg, that part is Not established and well known). Zeff now follows him around as a ghost.
