Summary
Dazai Osamu did not remember dying, but knew very well that he was dead. Dead as a doornail, dead as a dodo, dead as, well, a dead man. In short, he was dead.
And maybe you’re wondering how he knew, and maybe the first clue was the large part of his torso that looked like it had been sliced with a cookie cutter.
Perhaps the next thing that prompted him towards this conclusion was that when he looked down, there was a body that looked eerily like him.
Also, there was a lot of blood. On both of them.
