Summary
Jisung turns his head to give Minho an angry squint. “I feel like you’re trying to trick me. I don’t know how, or for what reason, but you are.”
Minho isn’t looking at him anymore, scrolling on his phone, gracing Jisung with his ridiculous side profile. “I would never trick you,” he says, voice as flat as the plains of Colorado.
“That sounds like something someone who’s trying to trick me would say.”
“Jisung.”
“What.”
“Come here.” He clicks his phone off and sets it on the nightstand between their beds, then pats his thigh.
“What?” Jisung short circuits for a moment. Minho wants him to… what? Sit on his thigh? Isn’t that a little forward? That has to be skipping at least ten steps. They’ve only known each other for, like, less than 72 hours. And a majority of that was spent antagonizing one another.
“I said come here.” And he pats his thigh again as if that’s a completely normal thing to do.

Summary
Jisung shrugs, all too casual. “Just for fun. You know, for the bit.”
“You want us to pretend to be a couple…in therapy. Just for fun.”
“Yeah!” Jisung nods enthusiastically. "Just until the therapist figures it out.”
Minho gives him a long, slow look that suggests he is currently measuring him for a straitjacket. “So. Two sessions, max.”
It’s supposed to be a joke– two best friends and roommates walk into a therapist’s office, and pretend they’re a couple until the therapist figures it out.
But old feelings die harder than old habits, and when everything they’ve been avoiding for five years finally catches up, Minho and Jisung start to realize they may not be pretending as much as they'd like to believe.

Summary
Minho was a strong arm around his waist, a firm grip on his hip and flexing fingers giving way to the emotions he tried to hide. Palliative, protective, possessive. But he was also so horribly selfless it was almost irritating. Keeping his emotions at bay, doing everything in his power to give Jisung comfort - even if it meant letting him go and talk to the pretty girl he’d been eying the entire night. Hand clenching into a fist by his side as Jisung left him.

Jisung is in love with Minho and is convinced Minho loves him too. If only he had the courage to ask him out on a proper date they wouldn't be stuck in this weird limbo they've created for themselves.

Summary
Minho was so damn observant. That was something Jisung loved about him— usually. Right now, he wished Minho would be at least a little more clueless to his nervous mannerisms. Maybe Minho wouldn’t pry if Jisung looked away, pretending he spotted something interesting on the empty kitchen counter. If Jisung didn’t breathe too loud, the topic would change and they could simply move on. That sometimes worked when people tried to ask him about stuff he couldn’t answer.
But really, Jisung’s luck had never been great, and Minho was amazing at noticing all the wrong things.
“Han-ah, are you really that prudish?” Minho asked.
