Summary
“You’ve got really soft hair,” Reo remarks one day, his fingers trailing through Nagi’s locks as Nagi rests his head against the desk. Nagi makes a vague noise of confusion, and with a light laugh, Reo lifts his hand. “It’s kind of unfair. You don’t even have to put effort into it.”
Nagi doesn’t know how to ask for Reo to go back to petting Nagi’s hair without sounding desperate, so he simply lets out a long sigh before lifting his head up. “What?” he asks when he finds Reo still staring at him strangely.
“You’re attractive,” Reo blurts out. “You know that, right?”
Nagi blinks slowly. “What?”
“You know,” Reo starts, his cheeks beginning to color. “Like, in a casual way. You know?” He looks away. “I read something about the effortlessly attractive aesthetic once,” Reo continues, his voice dropping in volume until it dissolves into unintelligible mumbles.
Nagi has no idea what Reo is talking about. Reo, calling him attractive? Did Reo hit his head?
Nagi leans in closer to squint at Reo. “Did you hit your head?”

Summary
Reo's sure he's never whipped around so fast in his entire life. Despite having already seen them, and facing the opposite direction, Reo's hands fly up to cover his eyes as he begins to spout several apologies.
"Oh my god. I'm so sorry! I swear I didn't see anything," Reo scrambles out, face flushed completly red.
"What? You asked me to get undressed," Nagi says, voice sounding uncharacteristically confused.
Reo finds out something new about the newest member of the host club

Summary
”Nagi, are you okay? You seem… upset.”
Nagi finally tears his eyes away from his phone. He blinks at Isagi. Now that he’s looking up, Isagi can see that Nagi really does seem upset. Not wildly so, that would be too uncharacteristic of him, but there’s definitely a crease to his brows that usually isn’t there. Isagi expects Nagi to dismiss his question with a noncommittal response, but to Isagi’s surprise, something else comes out of Nagi’s mouth.
”I miss my boyfriend.”
There’s a lot to unpack there. To think that Nagi would miss someone at all, enough to mope and stare at his phone is a bit surprising on its own, but a bit more pressing than that is the fact that—
“You have a boyfriend?” Bachira blurts out incredulously. Chigiri’s mouth is fully hanging open.
“Oh,” Nagi says. “Yeah, I do.”

Summary
It only takes Nagi that fraction of a second and the crack of light under the door to look at Reo’s face - the tears, the runny nose, the puffy eyes. In the darkness of the room Reo feels the most exposed he’s ever been, stripped bare before Nagi whose eyes seem to stare right through him into his soul.
Reo turns his back to him, burying his face into the pillow, and wills the earth to swallow him whole.
Nagi’s voice raises with a hint of worry and panic. “You’ve been crying?”
Reo wakes up at 3am in a room with two other people, but he’s never felt so lonely.

“I want to learn how to act on a date,” Nagi repeats. Reo’s expression does something strange.
”I… I meant if you wanted to learn something related to soccer.”
“Oh.” Nagi deflates. “So you won’t teach me?”
Reo’s mouth flaps open and closed a few times. “I don’t—I mean, uh, I’m…” She squints at Nagi before shaking her head. “Where is this even coming from?”
Nagi looks down at her hands, at the callouses that line her palm and the ragged edges of her nails. She shrugs.
”I want to go on a date with someone,” she says simply. “But they have a lot more experience than me, so…” She trails off. She still hasn’t looked up, so she doesn’t know what sort of expression Reo has on her face.
”You,” Reo says, before stopping. “You want to go on a date with someone?”
Nagi nods. Reo lets out a funny sounding breath.
