    When Neal the Eel failed at securing his seat as the 5th faculty member among V.I.L.E., Dr. Bellum suggests they consider Mime Bomb for the position. Remarking that Shadowsan’s old class focused on stealth, and Mime Bomb specialized in both that and Cryptanalysis

    The other members aren’t too keen on the idea, especially Coach Brunt. Why should they recruit an operative who doesnt even fight? Not to mention he’s just a street clown at the end of the day. Neal was not only a great stealthist, but skilled fighter also. Who wouldn’t make you play charades to converse with him.

    Intrigued by the idea, Professor Maelstrom comes to a compromise. In which both operatives will be tasked with the mission to capture Carmen Sandiego. Whoever can is guaranteed the 5th seat.

    Neal isn’t too happy to have competition, but relents anyway and is thankful at the new opportunity to prove himself.
    Mime Bomb is taken aback by the potential candidancy, but is curious to see where his future entails.

    That said, things change.
