Summary
(๑'ヮ'๑)っ⁾⁾ Hallo! This is not updating again for an indeterminate time period, and when it does, it will hopefully be a more cohesive version of what I want to tell.
many months ago, sergius angenent, a normal sheep satyr, had a run in with a supposed goddess– he calls bullshit, even two months later with her visiting him frequently. him being a satyr doesn't mean he has to believe in deities.
cut to four months later and he is now death's little harbinger, although she calls him her canary in a coal mine, or her herald. weird, but he roles with it. now he lives on somewhat normally, if you don't consider the celestial entities occasionally popping in.
at least his social life has gotten better.
tldr; guy gets friend-adopted by lady death, then proceeds to have a better social life because of it.

Summary
Jason was fifteen, barely five foot, and underweight for his age when he died. When he came back to his body, suddenly he was too tall, too scarred, too much, too different. And he just... never got used to it.
(Or: 5 times a Bat noticed/discovered his body dysmorphia post resurrection)

Summary
The witcher hums again. His hair is white as moonlight, Jaskier reflects. It’s quite pretty, actually. “I’d been told you’re a monster, you know. But in my experience, monsters don’t usually praise goddesses for not maiming their enemies.”
Jaskier swallows. “Is that what we are? Enemies?”
There’s another long pause. And then, “No. No, I don’t think we are.”
Jaskier can’t help it. He starts curling in on himself. “You’re a witcher though, aren’t you? You’re supposed to kill monsters.”
“And are you a monster?” comes the retort.
And to that, Jaskier can only answer honestly. “I don’t know.”

Summary
« Jason is used to his body and mind going numb, he’s used to his breath hitching, to his heartbeat slowing down so drastically that he sometimes finds himself sprawled on the freezing tiles, clutching the shirt drenched in cold sweat that’s plastered to his chest, just above his heart, mouth gaping as he regains feeling in his body.
“Fine. Just一” he swallows, throat dry, “I’m only staying one night. I’m leaving at dawn.” »Jason reluctantly spends a night at the Manor, omitting some crucial information regarding the Lazarus Pit side effects.
Please, read the spin-off fic too!

Summary
“Hi,” she says in a breathless rush, then takes a moment to swallow and wet her lips. “I, uh, need your help?”
“Are you dying?”
“N-not exactly.”
“Then you don’t need me,” comes Jason’s lazy, uninterested reply.
The call ends with a click.

Steph doesn't know what's more embarrassing: that she's been locked in a closet during a party, or the fact that her "friends" aren't really her friends. And to top it all off, Jason's the only one who can come rescue her.
