Summary
Sara Foster is very good at managing chaos.
As the full-time nanny for a New Jersey Devils assistant coach’s three kids, she knows how to handle spelling homework meltdowns, sauce-covered toddlers, missing shin guards, and family skate logistics without breaking a sweat.
She is around the Devils all the time.
Near them, sometimes.
Inside the same buildings, occasionally.
But she is not part of that world.
She is the nanny — trusted, dependable, warm, and very used to staying invisible when she needs to be.
Luke Hughes is supposed to be nothing more than a tall, pretty, inconveniently memorable guy who once held a door for her at a family skate.
Then Sara’s friends drag her out after a long Friday night of childcare, and Luke ends up outside a Hoboken bar after a bad game, drunk, embarrassed, dramatic, and eating pizza like it personally wronged him.
Sara helps him because she is nice.
Luke wakes up hungover, humiliated, and completely unable to stop thinking about her.
Which is unfortunate.
Because Sara knows exactly how messy hockey men can make things.
And Luke Hughes has never been subtle a day in his life.

Summary
When Zack gets traded to LA, he knows he has to say goodbye to the jersey number he had chosen as a tribute to his brother who died two years prior, because one of the Kings' biggest names is already wearing it. So when he's told that number 12 has given it up for him to keep, Zack wants to do the right thing and thank him properly. Now, Zack's not particularly enclined to insist on things, he knows how to pick his fights, but when Laszlo Mahony-McAdam, ex number 12 on the Kings, simply refuses to talk about it, Zack does not feel like letting go.
Mac's not in the same teammates circles, not in the same stratosphere gamewise, but Zack is curious, and if Zack decides to befriend his distant new Canadian teammate, he will.Bookmarked by aas25

Summary
Sienna Walker knows two things for sure: Macklin Celebrini was her most embarrassing Boston University crush, and getting drafted should have made him someone she stopped thinking about.
Unfortunately, Sienna has never been that lucky.
Months after a sleepover dare convinced her to send one stupidly brave DM, the now-first-overall San Jose Shark finally checks his message requests and replies with the exact kind of line that ruins a girl’s peace.
It starts as a joke. A late message. A little teasing. A private thread neither of them seems able to leave alone. But then Macklin turns out to be quieter than she expected, funnier than he has any right to be, and somehow aware of her in ways she never let herself hope for back at BU.
And Sienna is not just the pretty influencer people think they understand from a distance.
Macklin figures that out fast.
Which becomes a problem for both of them.
Or: she DMed the boy she used to have a campus crush on because her friends dared her to, he replied six months too late, and now two very image-conscious nineteen-year-olds are accidentally building a whole private world through their phones.
