Summary
Similar to Built to Break-Alternate ending, this story will be the same up to a certain point, and then switch into an alternate version. Chapter 25 is where things will begin to shift from the original.
If you have read the original, I have gone back and added some author's notes at the end of the chapters with some thoughts and insights you might enjoy, instead of rereading the whole thing... though I find that rereading it sometimes hits different when you know the ending will change.
Spoiler alert: Ilya will die.

Summary
Evelina Petrova was a pretty normal woman. She was one of the medics and physical therapists at the Montreal Voyageurs, she loved partying and other than that there wasn’t anything unordinary about her. Well, apart from the fact that her twin brother was Ilya Rozanov of course.

We follow the life of Evelina Rozanova who is extremely close with Ilya and somehow has to keep a pokerface whenever she sees Shane Hollander after her brother tells her in detail about all the shit they went through.
Just a quick warning, this story is super fluffy and adorable, but there are moments when this isn't the case. There are some dark topics like abuse, grief and death that are covered. It starts out cute and everything but builds up to tears and me staying in the shame shack.

Summary
There had been a moment where Shane’s eyes had landed on him and his throat had gone tight in a way that he told himself was envy, because Rozanov had been deemed number one and that was where Shane had wanted to be and no other reason, before he’d even noticed her. It didn’t last long though, because she was honestly sort of hard to miss.
She looked like a doll, dressed up in a pale pink tweed dress with a big lace collar and a giant bow in her hair. She was tiny compared to Rozanov, only just reaching his waist, but that didn’t seem to stop her from climbing all over him as though he were a jungle gym, tugging on his hands in demand as she rattled off something Shane didn’t understand the words of but picked up the meaning for pretty easily. It wasn’t hard to see that she was trying to get him to watch her. “Ilyusha, posmotri na menja!”

Ilya Rozanov has a little sister. When she moves to Boston after an incident with her father, somehow Shane Hollander finds himself drawn into the family unit completely against his will. At least that's what he tells anybody that asks.
