Inuyasha growls then, golden eyes glaring at the ceiling like it personally offended him. “I’ll pay you, for fuck’s sake,” he grits out. Kagome can’t help but feel like she’s entered some new reality. Douchebag extraordinaire who eats all her chips is now begging for her to be his fake girlfriend? And he’s going to pay her for it?

Zuko is courting Katara, and with every passing day finds new and insane ways of showing that he would quite literally move the spirit world and earth to make her happy.
In hindsight, it probably would've been better if Sokka had realised he was in love with Zuko at literally any time before this. Or preferably, never fallen for his best friend in the first place.

Iroh never went with Zuko in his banishment. Left to tend his ship and crew alone, the men mutiny when Zuko forces them to sail into the bitter cold of the South Pole, and Zuko must find a way to survive on his own if he hopes to find the Avatar. Help comes from a strange spirit, but it comes with a price.
