Summary
Rhaenyra Targaryen dies in the kingswood when the boar comes for her.
At least, that is what history records.
She wakes up nearly a century later with no dragon, no crown, no coin, and, most offensively, no decent clothes.
Her only hope is Ser Duncan the Tall, a hedge knight with a dangerous habit of doing the right thing, occasionally outwitted by doors, and not always burdened by immediate understanding.
Unfortunately, Ashford also has Prince Aerion Targaryen: beautiful, vain, arrogant, and exactly Rhaenyra’s type in the worst possible way.
History thought it was done with her.
Rhaenyra disagrees.

Summary
She knew him in their youth, and in their differing wars since. Their paths had twisted as sure as her locks lay hidden beneath helms, lost love masked as sure as it was coated in plated armour. Forgetting Prince Baelor had become easy enough as time stretched on; easier when a tilt provided a warm pocket of coin, a melee dry lodgings. Even dealing with her own ghosts gave a well-worn distraction.
Was it a man-made fate, or one of divine?
Had the gods already written her existence, or were they nudging her forth to carve it herself?
Becoming a hidden knight was the worship she sought and had embraced for years, forged from rusted steel and splintered lance. Tourney masses paying cries to enigmatic heraldry, to her success despite the watching eyes of the lords that so often sat above her.
Seeking it all further come time for the Tourney at Ashford, gifting the Silent Bell Knight a place to once more step into their own— granted, there was no other giving halt. -
