Summary
Eskel had one true love in his long life, an auburn-haired boy who died screaming during experimental witcher trials. Geralt, on the other hand, had many true loves, a great many for a man who was supposed to be more cut off from his emotions than even the average witcher. Perhaps that should have been Eskel’s clue that he didn’t understand this love thing at all.
In which Eskel learns what love looks like from Geralt, of all people. And Geralt learns that a damaged heart can still love and be loved in return.

Summary
His second year with Geralt is as delightful as the first, and he even gets to ride Roach for a week after a tumble leaves him with a sprained ankle that won’t hold his weight. He feels rather like a princess in a fairytale, barely resisting the urge to wave at the plebeians around him while passing by to invite them to gaze upon his delightful self. His noble knight could stand to be a little less scowly and slap-y when Jaskier tries to take the reins for himself, but needs must, and at least Geralt looks the part, with all of that lovely silver hair and his very well-tailored trousers.
Their second year is also when he finally manages to find a key to finding out more about Geralt: his pupils.
(Geralt is the exact opposite of an open book) (Luckily, his eyes say plenty)

Summary
"Ah, Geralt," Jaskier hiccups in the middle of his relieved sigh. "It's been too long, old friend."
The shock of hearing his brother's name so familiar on the boy's lips has Eskel frozen and silent. The boy slides comfortably onto his lap, dropping his head into the curve of his neck. His feet probably could touch the floor if he tried, but he doesn't so they hang loose in the air. Eskel's hand falls to his hip more from a reflexive need to make sure he doesn't fall than anything else.
"You could say hello, you great, grouchy oaf," Jaskier mumbles, his eyes suddenly heavy. "I've missed you," he adds, so soft only a Witcher could hear.
Eskel clears his throat. "There seems to be a mistake," he says so low that he isn't sure the boy has heard him.

Summary
A blow to the head renders Lambert's memories foggy after a brutal hunt. When he wakes up, he finds himself being cared for by a chipper cat witcher who offers to walk the path with him while he recovers.
Aiden hasn't known the foul-mouthed wolf long when he finds a griffin standing over him, preparing for the death blow. He saves his life without a second thought. Soon he finds himself traveling the path alongside his new friend whose injury took his memories, including those that drove his prejudice against cat witchers. The closer he grows to Lambert, the more he worries the day will come when Lambert wakes up and sees his medallion as the brand of a traitor again.

Yennefer and Ciri left with the promise that Geralt would soon follow, but the witcher would take the longer route to ensure that witnesses would see him travel without Ciri in his company. While it had never been discussed just where Jaskier fit into all this, it was an unspoken agreement that he would follow wherever his witcher lead. Though he wholeheartedly resented the squeeze Yen gave his hand before the ladies departed, a pleasant sensation built on equal parts of reassurance and pity. Lovely.

“B-but I just finished up with…” He gestured down his body, bruises already blooming along with dozens of angry, red marks. She sighed, a flicker of something passing through her eyes, as she pinched the bridge of her nose.
“Look, I know it’s not ideal, but it’ll have to do,” she said.

Summary
Supper secured and stuffed away in his trousers, he looks up to find the silver-haired stranger in the corner, the one person who hadn’t heckled him. The man is objectively gorgeous, with fascinating hair and a body that makes Jaskier’s mouth water a little.
Oh yes, he decides quickly, he will be climbing this stranger like a tree.
He’s a little wrong-footed when he works out that the stranger is a witcher with big scary swords Jaskier’s heard horror stories about, but after a quick moment of thought, he also thinks about how very many things the fae elders have been wrong about all his life and decides to ignore them once again. The witcher–Geralt of supposedly Rivia, even though Jaskier can tell from his accent that that’s a lie–tries to get rid of him, but Jaskier is nothing if he’s not determined, and he’s simply too damn interested to get scared off easily.
The witcher has clearly not realized that Jaskier is something to be hunted, and Jaskier, well, he’s never excelled at silly things like self-preservation.

Summary
To a witcher, touch is almost never a good thing.
Touch means something or someone has gotten too close. Close enough to rend open the places where armour doesn’t protect the vulnerabilities underneath. Close enough to see the pulse where it beats just under the surface, to identify where to strike.
To Geralt, touch is everything beyond that, too. He craves the moments where touch doesn’t mean pain, damage, or potential death, but where it means safety and care. In a witcher’s life, those moments are far and few between.
Geralt bears it and watches the seasons change until he can take out that part of himself for winter, and let it breathe.He’s used to it, and he’s already endured it for decades when he meets Jaskier

Jaskier.
He had longer hair, shoulder length and matted. His cheeks were stubbled and tear stained. His clothes were ratty, worn, and not colorful at all. His hands bandaged. And his eyes… his eyes were nervous, and… hurt. Deeply hurt. But here his bard was, alive, petting Roach and staring at Geralt.
Geralt moved forward and hugged the man to his chest without thought. He wasn’t expecting the flinch, nor for the bard to pull away, but Geralt let him go. He didn’t know what had come over him anyway.
He was happy enough just to look at the man.
“Where have you been?” He asked. “I’ve been searching for you, ever since…” he trailed off, expecting Jaskier to chime in, like he always did.
