In the spirit world above a sea of gray fog, sits a cloaked figure on his divine throne. Illusory tentacles made of maggots squirm behind the figure as they ponder in thought, his fingers tap rhythmically on the armrest. Suddenly, his eyes open as he feels a distant call for help — a familliar aura tainted the voice's prayers.
'Oh? What an interesting fate this little one has.' he thought in passing as he feels their fate.
"Maybe lending a helping hand won't hurt, it's been a while since i've got a new blessed." he mutters in passing, as a small smile adorn his face.

Summary
Two decades ago, powerful evil beings appeared in the world, seemingly overnight
They were simply known as 'Shadows', and they didn’t seemed to have any other objective other than causing chaos and destruction wherever they went
But at the same time as the Shadows appeared, another set of creatures also made their appearance to fight back against them
They were known as 'Personas'. Beings that worked alongside humans to defeat the Shadow threat trough a contract
Cases of this 'Persona Superheroes' quickly became viral. Although public opinion of it was very varied
Some saw Persona users as real-life heroes, while others saw them as potential threats to society
Akira Kurusu, personally, had always seen them as amazing heroes

On the very first day of school of his probation, Akira alongside another student stumble upon a Shadow breeding nest known as the 'Metaverse’, where they’re tormented by an evil Shadow who sees himself as a king, both inside the Metaverse and on Reality
But the teens also find some new partners and remind them of their true purpose in life
