Summary
Beatrice lowered the phone, her frame still as a statue. She stayed like that for a long moment, staring at the darkened screen as the rain splattered against her boots.
"Is everything okay?" Ava asked, her voice small and fragile against the backdrop of the storm.
Beatrice seemed to snap from her distant thoughts, her head jerking slightly as if she’d been physically pulled back from a great height. She nodded, shoving her phone into her pocket with a frantic, desperate haste, as if the device itself were made of burning coal.
"Yes," Beatrice said, though the word was thin and lacked any conviction.
There was a long, suspended moment of silence as they stared at each other in the rain. The water was starting to soak through Ava’s denim, but she didn't care. She was focused on the way Beatrice looked. Fragmented, as if the call had cracked the very foundation of her poise.
"Strict parents?" Ava asked carefully.
Beatrice nodded, her gaze fixed on the grey mist of the world around them.
"Quite, yes," she admitted.

Summary
Beatrice Young only meant to visit a friend.
Instead, she takes a wrong turn and finds Ava Silva, sitting in a hospital room, oxygen mask slipping as she laughs over a card game like she isn't dying.
Ava had been terminal for years. Long enough to stop waiting and long enough to decide that if she's going to live, even a little, it won't be quietly.
Beatrice doesn't know how to walk away from that.
So she stays.
And somewhere between hospital hallways, bad decisions, and shared sodas, Beatrice falls in love with a girl who measures time differently, and Ava lets herself be loved, even knowing exactly how it ends.

Summary
Holy relics are traded on the black market like tech. Fragments of angels, coded prayers, divine energy harnessed as weapons. Two rival factions rule the underground: the Sanctum (an ancient order sworn to guard relics) and the Syndicate (a mercenary group that steals and sells them).
Ava Silva is the Syndicate's best thief. Fast, reckless, and annoyingly good at breaking into churches.
Sister Beatrice is the Sanctum's most disciplined warrior. Brilliant, strategic, and sick of cleaning up Ava's messes.
When a relic capable of raising the dead goes missing, both women are forced into an uneasy partnership to recover it. The catch? The relic bonds to whoever touches it, and it's chosen Ava.
Now hunted by both sides, the thief and the nun must survive each other long enough to stop a power that could unmake the world. But as the line between faith and desire blurs, Beatrice starts wondering if sin really needs saving - or if Ava is her redemption in disguise. -

Summary
Sometimes new stars are born from the collapse of others, life from death, order from chaos. Sometimes new stars are born in worlds that once lived in the pages of a book and think upon waking "shit." Canopa is one such star. Now, if only she could actually remember the entire plot instead of just bits and pieces that would be great. (SI/OC) Pairing undecided.

Summary
“Ava. Ava Silva. I’m here to adopt, hopefully, a cat— I'd like to adopt a cat.”
Her words came out as jumbled as her thoughts and she mentally scolded herself for looking like a mess in front of the very hot British women.
Beatrice. Ava thought. The hot British woman’s name is Beatrice.
“Right.” Beatrice spoke, her eyes were narrowed slightly and the corners of her lips were turned up into a smile. “We’ve got plenty of those.”
Or,
Ava goes to adopt a cat and leaves with much more than she bargained for.
