“Oh… Mr. Itadori, you mean… you don’t know?” The man’s voice sounded grave.
“Don’t call me that. Just call me Sukuna. And no, I don’t know. What the hell am I supposed to know?” Sukuna barked back. Now he was getting irritated. “You’re speaking in code, asshole. Why don’t you just spit out whatever it is you’ve called me for?”
There was a small pause after and the man on the other end cleared his throat.
“I’m terribly sorry to be the one to tell you. But… your brother and his wife… they’ve both passed away.” The man named Ijichi said sadly.
OR
Sukuna hasn’t talked to his twin brother Jin for thirteen years. The last time Sukuna saw his nephew, he was two years old. Now, Sukuna has no choice but to take care of his fifteen year old nephew, who he barely knows. This was definitely not in his life bingo card.

Summary
They stand shoulder to shoulder, leaning against the railing. Megumi watches the cherry of his cigarette burn, and strangely feels like he could just stay like this for a while. If it’s with him.
"Itadori..." Megumi starts. He wants to say thank you. For the help. For the night overall, really.
But the words die in his throat as a phone buzzes sharply in Itadori's pocket. He pulls it out and glances at the screen, and Megumi watches his entire body go rigid.
"Everything alright?" Megumi asks, instinctively leaning in. "Troubles at work?"
Itadori stares at the glowing display in heavy silence."No, not work," Itadori says, his voice dropping an octave. "It's Yuta."
Megumi freezes, the cigarette trembling slightly between his fingers.
"Yuta?" he asks, trying to lace the name with indifference.
"My boyfriend."
or: bartender Yuuji has sick tattoos, and a socially-clueless Megumi finds himself in a god-forsaken bar while trying to keep an eye on a heartbroken Gojo, and falls in love miserably.

Liquid courage in his veins, he bares his teeth in aggression, even going as far as to growl.
“Why would I come looking for you? I was tired of being in a lonely home so I came out for fresh air. Don’t flatter yourself.”
Megumi’s eyes widen. Yuuji has never talked to him that way. He chalks it up to the alcohol and turns to the man who’s still staring at Yuuji fiercely.
“I’m sorry for my mate, I’ll handle this.”
The man turns to him, eyebrow raised. When he speaks, Yuuji shivers.
“This is your mate? Yuuji, huh?”
He turns his gaze back down to Yuuji who’s looking up at him again. A hand gets extended and Yuuji takes it, fingers tingling where their skin meets, the alpha’s voice going even deeper with a pleased rumble.
“Nice to meet you, Yuuji. I’m your mate’s boss, Sukuna Ryomen.”
Yuuji’s heard about Sukuna before. Mostly Megumi complaining here and there about tight deadlines, lack of respect, and a horrible attitude. All Yuuji sees, though, is an alpha. One he doesn’t know yet but might like to.
