Summary
The first time it happens, Bruce doesn’t do a great job at hiding his surprise. It was only a couple weeks after Tim’s adoption was officially finalized - hyphenated name and all. Bruce still smiles to himself at the memory of reading ‘Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne’ on those papers, trying not to choke up at his third son being the first to take the Wayne name. Of course that was never an expectation, but still, it meant something that Tim chose to take it.
With that considered, perhaps Bruce shouldn’t have been quite so shocked by the teen calling him ‘Dad’, but he is. And he’s even more startled to hear it declared loudly as Tim abruptly sprints towards him down the hall at full speed.
“Dad Test!”
Or
Tim starts a trend in the family of jumping at Bruce at random, increasingly difficult times shouting: 'Dad Test!' to see if he'll catch them. This leads to many shenanigans & then crash lands into angst because of course it does.

Summary
When Jason woke up buried under rubble, he already knew it was going to be a bad day. And with the hole in his stomach, bullet wounds in his chest, and concrete slabs pinning his legs down, he bitterly accepted his fate.
He always knew he was on borrowed time and just like last time, he was going to die alone.
There was a time when someone would’ve tried to save him. There was a time when he was loved.
But he burned those bridges a long time ago and now, there was no one around to care that he was taking his last breath.
After all, he used up all of Robin’s magic the first time and there were no more miracles left for him.

Summary
Lightning flashed, lighting up the alley in front of him, revealing mud covered heels. He blinked and looked up, staring unseeingly at the woman standing in front of him. She wore a black evening gown, though the hem was ripped and rotting. The pearls on her necklace were framed and set into what looked like bottlecaps, the delicate chain missing links and replaced with thicker, common steel chain links. Her opera gloves were stained with green sludge and red brown smears on the fingers. Her hair was thick and grimy, whatever style it had once been carefully arranged in mussed and ruined.
She smirked, lips twitching as she stared at him, as though he weren’t kneeling in a puddle of his parents' blood with their corpses lying beside him.
“Who…?” His voice was barely audible over the rain as he spoke. She reached forward, hand grasping his chin and tilting his head side to side.
“I’ll see you again...”
