Summary
Life as a babe starts with screaming, confusion, fear, anger, and a strange sense of off-ness (otherness). It doesn't get much better with your mother. It's better with your new master, you suppose, when your strangeness can be disregarded as a result of trauma and not just something inherently you. Your new father-figure is nice enough, either way.

Hey, thought I'd post some of my work from Fanfiction.net here. Like the other platform, I probably won't upload all that often, since I should be studying more.
1) Fall: Aphmau falls, but not really; they learn that Irene always rises.
2) Enki's Library: Aphmau is alike Irene in many ways and simultaneously, somehow, none at all.
3) Alina: Alina is the light of her life, one of the few remnants of the man she had loved (too much; too late) once upon a time.

Uchiha Itachi is instructed to slay his entire clan, root and stem. He begs for his brother to be spared and is given that boon. So, he slays his entire clan cleanly, root and stem, and spares his brother.
He can’t be held responsible for one of the others getting back up.
Uchiha Masuyo wakes up in the wrong body, in the wrong world, and bleeding out. So much for a good start.

Summary
In a world obsessed with killing and dying, Seiko is mostly concerned with chasing off her boredom. The Academy wasn’t exactly intellectually stimulating, but dying in the second shinobi war sounded like a long walk off a short pier. Everyone is always so stressed about avoiding attention, or min-maxing skills in situations like this.
Seiko is of the opinion that those people need to chill the hell out. Maybe play a little shogi. Death comes for them all anyways. Better to enjoy this all while it lasts.
(genius self insert stumbles into disrupting a timeline with the intentionality of an elephant trampling a very fancy tea shop.)

Summary
When Yusami finds out she's been dropped into the Naruto universe, she doesn't know if she should feel relieved or cheated to have missed out on all of the cool ninja stuff.
"Both" she decides as she looks down at her favorite customer and wonders how she can sneak extra veggies into his bag without him noticing, "Definitely both."
Or: a self-insert becomes a simple grocer in Konohagakure and decides that if no one else is going to adopt the baby protagonist, then it's free real estate.
Featuring: a civilian woman beating Danzou at his own game, Naruto finding the love he's always deserved, and a hefty amount of ANBU operatives wondering if the Uchiha are accepting volunteers for that little coup/revolution.

A ROOT Agent dies young. Something else wakes up in its place within the burial pit.
That Something then proceeds to flutter on in like a butterfly with no awareness as to how strong its wing-flaps are.
Shisui cheers her on as the rest of Konoha trip on their ankles.
“This is my cousin, Itachi. And this is his little brother, Sasuke. He's about your age!”
She reaches out to hook a hand in Shisui's pant leg and blinks at the child from the sandbox, now identified as Sasuke. He blinks back.
“Shisui, I - “
“Shh! They're bonding! It's fine.”
