Jaskier took another sip of wine. “Hmm? Oh, that. Well, sometimes busking in seedy taverns doesn’t bring me as much coin as I need in a pinch,” Jaskier said nonchalantly, as though he hadn’t just shifted Radovid’s entire worldview. “And sometimes it’s just a fun way to spend an evening. Great stress reliever,” he added with a cheeky grin.

Summary
"You should leave me," Jaskier mumbles. It takes a second for Geralt to parse out the words, and when he does he feels ice chasing the potion through his veins.
"Stop fucking saying that," Geralt says, and maybe he is angry at Jaskier - not for the injury, never that, but for the idea that Geralt would consider leaving him behind. For thinking even for a second that Jaskier lying abandoned on a battlefield to die is a price Geralt could ever pay.
