„Smile, prince. Wave at least a little. Did you greet the people on your right?” The king asked, his hand’s tightened on Jimin’s shoulders. Jimin pouted sadly. He didn’t want to be here at all.
„I did. Can we go play now?” Little royal boy next in line to the throne had high hopes for fun today: it was his birthday after all and his dad promised.
„We talked about this. You have more duties now. You are closer to becoming an adult, you need to take care of your responsibilities.”

At this point he didn’t even need his dad to be with him. He could do the crown duty he loved so much, but Jimin desperately wanted to do something else, anything else. He waved, smiled brightly, dreaming about playing with cats in the palace gardens. Little did he know, he would never get to play like he used to again and king’s promises didn’t mean anything, if they were spoken to him.
