Basically, I read a prompt saying that when Yuna and David called Ilya to see how he was doing, he felt overwhelmed, because he's never had a family in a long time. Credit to whoever said that (I can't find the prompt again i really tried), and I HAD to write about it.
So this is Ilya learning that he deserves to be happy, and that he's been adopted by Yuna and David now.
This happens in the year between heated rivalty and the long game!

Summary
