Bored with Ministry work and a lackluster love life, Hermione Granger decides it's time for a change. She applies and is admitted into the top magic graduate school in Europe, but arrives to find (to her surprise and dismay) that her childhood bully, Draco Malfoy, has been accepted into the same program. They are both looking for a fresh start, but what if all they end up finding is each other?

She watched his eyes turn molten as they roved over her. Then the hand holding her wrist loosened and he slid it all the way down the length of her arm before enclosing it around the back of her neck. She arched instinctively as goosebumps raced over the surface of her body.
He exhaled through his nose.
His eyes met hers and they were full of desire, and longing.
“Malfoy,” she said softly. “Be good.”

Summary
Hermione, as usual, has done the impossible. She has found a cure for the obliviate spell, and she is eager to present her findings to the wizarding world at large. The problem is, Hermione is attacked when presenting her research at St. Mungo's, and she finds herself rescued by a masked man in tactical gear. Only, he's using a gun... and a wand?
Draco has been forced into servitude along with every other child of the death eaters. It wasn't a choice to join the underground task force, but he does rather excel at it. As he does. The Knights, all of whom go by code names and operate in the shadows, carry out their orders with deadly precision. They do not usually play bodyguard to other witches and wizards.
Hermione is the exception. Draco is tasked with keeping Hermione alive, protecting her from what seems to be a muggle army. Or zombies. They're not exactly sure. Only, Hermione has no idea who is behind the mask. All she knows is that a Knight has been sent to her flat, H3. And she's stuck with him.
