Finney Blake is known to be missing and kidnapped by the, already well known, Grabber. Everybody knew the shithole Finney must be in, even Finney knew. This hellbound place spoke for itself.
But even so, Finney was determined to escape this monster's basement. He wasn't alone after all, the previous victims were with him hoping to see karma bite back at that monster.
Once Finney was ready to beat the shit out of this monster, hopefully being able to kill it on the process, Finney wakes up to what he believes is March 31, 1976. 2 days before Griffin Stagg was kidnapped.

He’d sworn to protect this gang. That was how he worked. When you were with Cheeky Dustbins you may as well be family. He’d take a blow for you and go back if you got separated because that’s what family did.
There was a time where the Mobgoblins would have done that for him but those days were long distant memories now. Cheeky didn’t recognise them anymore even though he’d once stuck his neck out keeping the lot of them safe.
No, he had a new family now. Well, family was a strong word for what they were. They were a group of outcasts and loners forced together through circumstance but they were good people – well good was maybe also an exaggeration – Cheeky liked them which was the main thing.

After managing to escape the Twilight Twins, the gang are able to take shelter in an abandoned underground platform where they lick their wounds and think about the battle they've just had as well as those to come. (Short little character pieces from the whole gang set around the end of episode 2-ish)

A criminal and member of law enforcement were hardly going to be the best of friends and even though the thing was clearly broken as hell, Cheeky was still distinctly aware of what they could do – what he had seen them do to those less sneaky and agile than him.
“I-“ Cheeky swallowed thickly, found himself for once at a loss for words. “I don’t understand lads. I thought the bosses said they’d get me some muscle. I didn’t- I don’t know what I’m even looking at ‘ere.-“
“Well they ain’t gonna send one of us with you, are they?” The Mobgoblin grinned and it seemed like this was a cruel joke all along. “No, our lives are much too valuable to risk pulling you out the way of a bolt, old man.” He pointed into the darkness of that last cell. “That’s what you get.”

Kevin then also realized something else.
He was taller. Like, much taller than he usually was. And Kevin was a pretty decent height for a twelve year old, he’d argue. Even his parents had said so! And his outfit too, it was different. Well, for one thing, he didn’t seem to be wearing his St. Churnley uniform anymore. Instead he was wearing a long dark coat, it seemed. And a red striped scarf that was just about as long as Rapunzel’s braid from Disney’s Tangled.
It wasn’t a very good scarf though, because the more Kevin adjusted it, the more it seemed to itch the left side of his face in particular.Or
