Lisa just looked stunned, and Carla started to panic a little.
"It's not illegal, is it? You can't arrest me for … public indecency, or summat?"
"Carla -" Lisa swallowed. "Are you really going to make me sit through dinner?"
Oh, Carla thought, the smirk back on her face. That's why she was looking so wide-eyed.
"Yes, darling." Carla leant forward, her voice a purr. "We're going to eat dinner, celebrate it being a Wednesday or summat, and then, if you're very good, I've got us a room upstairs. Does that sound like something you're up for?"

Lisa’s lips are parted. Hot air passes through them in short pants leaving miniscule droplets of dew upon them. Her hand is pressed firmly into the wall, finger nails scratching as a pitchy groan echoes from her rapidly rising and falling chest.

Summary
“You’re such a good mate,” Lisa smiles at Carla. Teeth out, creases around her eyes, the lot.
Carla’s heart sinks in her chest. It’s not just a metaphorical feeling, she actually feels it happening, feels the weight of Lisa’s words pushing down deep within her. So she does the only thing she can think of in that moment so as not to completely give the game away; she takes a long sip of her drink, eyes darting around the room, looking for anything to focus on beside Lisa.
Well that backfired, didn’t it?
Lisa’s still smiling.
Friendzoned much?
God, she’s not used to this. Doesn’t think she’s ever been friendzoned in her life.
