Hongjoong went straight to the “MEN” tab on the website and clicked on it, having exhausted the limited options he had on the homepage. He looked around for a while, trying to find thumbnails that caught his attention long enough to click on it, but ended up moving from one stream to another with little success. He groaned in frustration, feeling enough arousal to keep looking but not enough to actually make him want to get off.
He was about to close the browser, having decided to just jerk off on his own so he could get some quick release and go to sleep, when a flash of pink caught his attention. A new thumbnail had appeared on top of the page. The image was pretty small, so all he could see clearly was a mop of fluffy pink hair and a beautiful smile.
He clicked on it before his brain could even process the information, almost dropping the phone on his face in his hurry.

Summary
Pirates spend their lives hunting down treasure, but the most valuable treasure of all isn’t gold or jewels - it’s mermaid scales. Mermaids can walk on land if they choose, but doing so is practically unheard of due to the risks. Seonghwa is the only living mermaid of his kind left, and after a life of hiding from ruthless hunters, he hatches a plan for revenge. He poses as a pirate and steps ashore for the first time in his life, all with the intent to destroy a certain captain, his crew, and his ship from the inside.
It’s only a matter of time until Seonghwa’s true identity is revealed, but he plans to destroy them all before it comes to that.

Meet ugly prompt: they in the same dorm/apartment building but the only time they see each other is when person A is wearing the most embarrassing outfits ever because, for some reason, they wait till there’s nothing else to wear to wash clothes.
(Or, Hongjoong is rarely home to do laundry because he’s always in the studio. The few times he’s able to do laundry, he finds himself in the laundry room wearing absolute bottom of the barrel clothing. Which is, of course, when he meets a pretty stranger who looks like a model. Good thing Seonghwa thinks Hongjoong is kind of adorable.)

Summary
The warning was there, they had time to make it out. When the power went out without a moment’s notice followed by the water disappearing shortly after, Seonghwa knew that his screaming instincts weren’t to be ignored like his roommate told him. The portable radio they used only screamed static except for the occasional alarming words that no one believed because it was April 1st and it was all supposedly a big prank.
That’s all it was, right? Some big prank? That’s what Seonghwa’s roommate told him at least, but look where his roommate was now.

And maybe it's a bit crazy to be developing a tiny crush on the guy he just met not even twenty-four hours ago, but sue him, Seonghwa is beautiful and his kid is adorable and Hongjoong has been alone for so long.
“What are you thinking about?” Seonghwa asks after a while of comfortable silence, curiosity written over his features.
Hongjoong stares out at the water, at the way the stars touch the sea. “I don't really know,” Hongjoong says, and it's not quite a lie. He really doesn't know how to explain what's going on in his mind, and his thought processes freeze when he looks at Seonghwa anyway. “Do you think we should head back?”
Seonghwa chews his lower lip for a moment before shaking his head. “Let's stay here a little longer.”
Hongjoong doesn't question it or protest. When Seonghwa’s hand finds his under the water, he sends a thank you to the constellations above him.
