Summary
She came to as dead creatures come to, held within the claws of something vast and terrible, racing through the void. Like a mouse caught in a hawk’s talons, the starry night a blur, dark fields and rivers below her as small as illustrations on maps her Mother had forced her to memorize.
Rangi was going to die. She knew it, and the realization was colder than she would expect.
Or, mysterious circumstances lead a young knight to bond with the living embodiment of the elements, a dragon, long thought to be extinct. In the bond her own inner fire is freed, long forbidden in the world, and perhaps the dragon finds some freedom of its own.

Summary
Vi spends a moment watching, taking in the way the light that streams out from the ballroom dances over the creases of Caitlyn's uniform, the stray strands of her hair come free from the ponytail, the long fingers that keep a loose grip on the glass of bubbly almost done. She drinks in the slightest upturn of Caitlyn's lips, luxuriating almost in the knowledge that Caitlyn is having a good enough time to not have spotted her yet.
The moment does not last.
That one eye flicks up to her and now that smile grows.
"Ten years," Caitlyn says, voice drifting over. "Yet I learn a new thing about you every day."

Vi has been through enough pain to last lifetimes. So when Caitlyn has an opportunity to provide for her, she’ll take it.
And maybe it’s wrong to feel so utterly pleased about the fact that she can give Vi things others can’t but Caitlyn can hardly be blamed. After all, it’s not like anyone wants to find themselves in the position of another person being able to give their lover something they can’t. So yes, it leaves her quite pleased to please.
Come to find out, however, it also leaves her incredibly turned on.

Caitlyn discovers that making Vi happy gets her wet.
