The first mention of his parents catches Hunter off guard. He does know all of that, as well as some extra details to fill in what his parents were like and their friendships with a lot of people in town. He knows that Darius seems to feel their loss the most keenly, while Raine is the only one who really talks about his parents openly.
There’s never been a time that all three of them have gathered to talk about them like this, though. This is new.

“You’re a little old for it,” Bosco says, still chuckling, “but I know your folks. We could call one of your parents, if you’d rather.”
