Summary
A curtain of silence fell upon them in the dimly lit balcony. Sanji kept watching the fireworks, while Zoro sipped his sake. Occasionally, the two would glance at each other, averting their eyes as soon as they met. While Sanji usually didn’t mind the grumpy swordsman’s company, tonight was different for both of them.
They hadn’t been ‘alone’ like this since Sanji came back to the crew.

Sanji and Zoro take some time away from the festivities to talk about certain events. Eventually, they do more than talking.

“Luffy! Can we get ice cream pleeeeaaaase?” Tama asked with that hopeful pout that neither men could ever resist.
Truly a cunning little kunoichi, Law mused. Their daughter sure knew how to use her cuteness to her advantage. And asking Luffy for anything food-related was a clever tactic that should be forbidden as cheating.
“Oooooooh! Yes, let’s get ice cream!” Luffy yelled excitedly.
Twin pairs of puppy eyes turned towards Law. He wasn’t even sure who of his husband or his daughter had taught these cheating techniques to the other. Law couldn’t deny them even if he wanted to.
“Alright, let’s get ice cream,” Law agreed, earning bright smiles and loud exclamations of joy that had him smothering a chuckle.Bookmarked by Trixx
